This serif typeface shows strong thick–thin modulation with tapered, bracketed serifs and subtly flared stroke terminals. Curves are generously rounded with a smooth, calligraphic flow, while verticals remain steady and upright. Proportions are traditional and slightly varying across letters, with moderate apertures and a compact, text-oriented rhythm. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic with angled stress and elegant entry/exit strokes, and the overall spacing reads balanced in continuous text.

It performs well for book typography and editorial layouts where a classic serif texture is desired, and it can also support refined branding, packaging, and formal stationery. At larger sizes, the contrast and serif detailing become more pronounced, making it suitable for headlines, pull quotes, and elegant titling.

The overall tone feels traditional and editorial, projecting a confident, cultured voice. Its sharp contrast and sculpted serifs add a sense of ceremony and seriousness, while the soft curves keep it approachable rather than rigid. The result is a familiar “book page” atmosphere suited to established institutions and long-form reading.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast text serif with a classical, calligraphic underpinning—aiming for familiar readability while adding a polished, upscale finish through tapered serifs and carefully modulated curves.

In the samples, the uppercase forms appear stately and slightly condensed in feel, with distinctive classical shapes (notably the Q with a long, sweeping tail). Lowercase includes sturdy, rounded bowls and a compact, legible texture in paragraphs, with punctuation and numerals matching the same refined contrast and stroke taper.
