A rough, hand-rendered serif with uneven contours and visibly distressed interiors. Strokes show irregular thickness and ragged edges, as if drawn with a dry brush or printed on coarse stock, creating broken counters and occasional spur-like protrusions. Letterforms are relatively narrow with a jittery rhythm and inconsistent sidebearings, giving lines of text a lively, unsettled texture while maintaining clear silhouettes. Serifs are blunt and worn rather than crisp, and curves (like O, C, G) appear slightly dented and organically imperfect.

Best suited for display applications such as posters, cover art, event flyers, title cards, and packaging where a gritty, handmade voice is desirable. It works especially well for genre-forward branding (horror, punk, underground) and short bursts of text like headlines, pull quotes, or logos where the distressed texture can read clearly.

The overall tone is gritty and confrontational, with a tactile, analog “found” quality that reads as distressed and slightly menacing. It evokes DIY posters, zines, and horror or thriller titling, where imperfection and noise are part of the message.

The design appears intended to simulate worn, imperfect letterforms—combining a traditional serif skeleton with heavily distressed edges to deliver an expressive, analog texture. It prioritizes atmosphere and attitude over pristine uniformity, aiming for a raw printed or hand-painted impression.

In longer text, the cumulative edge noise creates a dark, textured color; the distressed details are most legible at display sizes, while smaller sizes may appear more blotty as interior breaks and roughness visually fill in. Numerals and capitals share the same eroded, hand-cut feel, supporting cohesive titling and label-style settings.
