A tall, tightly set display face with strong vertical emphasis and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Strokes are mostly straight and columnar, with hairline-like joins and occasional tapered diagonals that add a cut, etched quality. Counters are narrow and often vertically oriented, and several forms show a notched/segmented impression where heavy stems meet thinner elements, creating an ink-trap-like crispness. The overall rhythm is compact and architectural, with high contrast producing bright internal highlights against very dark stems.

Best suited to large sizes where the contrast and narrow counters can be appreciated without filling in. It works well for headlines, mastheads, poster typography, and bold brand statements where a compact width and commanding texture are desirable. Short subheads and pull quotes can benefit from its dense color, while extended body copy may require generous size and spacing.

The font projects a bold, theatrical tone that feels at home in classic poster and headline traditions. Its condensed stance and sharp transitions read as confident and slightly dramatic, balancing elegance with a hard-edged, industrial crispness.

The design appears aimed at delivering maximum impact within minimal horizontal space, using strong contrast and tall proportions to create a striking editorial voice. Its sharp joins and crisp internal shaping suggest an intention to evoke classic display typography while retaining a clean, modern strictness in the overall construction.

Uppercase forms are especially tall and imposing, while the lowercase maintains a sturdy, compact build that keeps lines dense in text. Numerals follow the same vertical, condensed logic, giving figures a strong presence in headings and signage-like compositions.
