A delicate italic serif with thin, even strokes and a steady rightward slant. Serifs read as squared and slab-influenced with subtle bracketing, giving terminals a crisp, chiseled finish rather than a sharp hairline flare. Uppercase forms are open and gently rounded (notably the C, G, and O), while diagonals in A, V, W, X, and Y are narrow and tapered, creating an airy, high-contrast-by-shape feel despite the light stroke weight. The lowercase is compact and smooth, with a two-storey a, single-storey g, and a long, flowing f; the overall rhythm is calm and consistent, with slightly calligraphic joins and restrained detailing.

Well suited to long-form reading in books and magazines where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, introductions, captions, or quoted passages. It also works for refined display moments—such as pull quotes, cultural or literary branding, and formal stationery—where a light, elegant italic serif can add sophistication without heavy ornament.

The font projects a poised, bookish tone—quietly formal and polished rather than expressive or playful. Its italic movement adds a sense of sophistication and forward motion, making it feel suited to refined, traditional contexts.

The design appears intended to provide a refined, readable italic with slab-leaning, square-ended serifs that keep letterforms crisp and controlled. It aims for a classic editorial texture—smooth curves, modest detailing, and consistent rhythm—prioritizing clarity and elegance over bold stylistic flourishes.

Numerals are slender and upright-to-italic in spirit, with curved forms (0, 3, 6, 8, 9) kept clean and open. The Q has a graceful tail and the R carries a measured leg, reinforcing an editorial, text-oriented demeanor. Spacing appears generous, helping the light weight remain legible and composed in continuous reading.
