A very heavy, high-contrast serif with sharply tapered wedge serifs and pronounced flaring at stroke endings. Curves are tight and sculpted, with angular notches and triangular cut-ins that create a chiseled, ink-trap-like rhythm in counters and joins. Proportions feel compact and display-oriented: bowls are broad and dark, apertures are relatively closed, and details in letters like S, a, g, and e emphasize sharp interior corners rather than smooth transitions. Numerals follow the same bold, carved construction, with strong diagonals and pointed terminals that keep the set visually consistent.

Best suited to large sizes where the carved details and wedge serifs can be appreciated—headlines, poster typography, mastheads, and logo/wordmark work. It can also serve for short editorial display (pull quotes, chapter openers, book covers), but the dense color and tight apertures make it less comfortable for long passages at smaller sizes.

The font projects a bold, theatrical personality with a distinctly vintage, poster-like presence. Its sharp wedges and sculptural contrast add a formal, slightly gothic drama that reads as ceremonial and attention-seeking rather than neutral.

The design appears intended as a decorative display serif that maximizes impact through extreme weight, sharp flaring serifs, and faceted interior cuts, creating a distinctive engraved or cut-paper look.

Because many joins and counters are tightened by angular cut-ins, the texture becomes dense quickly in continuous text, especially around round letters and diagonals. The silhouette remains crisp and energetic, with a consistent motif of pointed terminals and faceted inner shapes across uppercase, lowercase, and figures.
