A heavy, block-constructed display face built from stacked horizontal bars with consistent gaps, producing a segmented “scanline” texture across every glyph. Forms are wide and mostly rectangular with softened, chamfered corners and occasional notches or cut-ins where counters would normally be. Counters and apertures are simplified into small openings or breaks in the bar pattern, keeping the silhouette bold while the interior detail reads as punched or stenciled. Spacing and widths vary by character, reinforcing a modular, constructed rhythm rather than strict geometric uniformity.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as posters, album art, event titles, and branding marks where the striped texture can be appreciated. It can also work for game or tech-themed UI labels and packaging callouts, especially when set large and with ample tracking to preserve the segmented detail.

The repeating bar structure evokes CRT scanlines, barcode striping, and industrial signage, giving the font a retro-tech, utilitarian tone. Its chunky silhouettes feel assertive and mechanical, while the internal segmentation adds a playful, arcade-like texture.

The design appears intended to translate a bold sans skeleton into a quantized, bar-based construction, emphasizing texture as much as letterform. The consistent horizontal segmentation suggests a deliberate reference to scanlines, barcode-like patterning, and stencil logic for a distinctive, attention-grabbing display voice.

The horizontal striping becomes a dominant texture at smaller sizes, where the gaps can visually merge and reduce counter clarity; the face benefits from generous sizing and clean, high-contrast settings. Straight-sided letters and simplified curves keep the overall color dense, with distinctive “broken” joins and compressed counters providing character recognition.
