A compact, heavy display face built from chunky verticals and flattened curves, with a distinctly compressed footprint. Many joins and counters are reduced into tight notches and slit-like openings, creating a semi-stenciled, “solid” feel where interior space often collapses. Curves are simplified into broad, squared bowls with occasional rounded shoulders, while terminals tend to end bluntly, producing a dense texture and strong vertical rhythm. Spacing appears tight and the overall silhouette reads as a series of bold columns with small, purposeful cut-ins rather than open, airy forms.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as posters, big headlines, logos, labels, and signage where the dense forms can read from shape and weight. It can work as a branding accent or for thematic titles, but is less appropriate for long passages where the reduced interior openings may fatigue readability.

The font projects a tough, industrial voice with a playful edge, mixing utilitarian block forms with odd, attention-grabbing irregularities. Its dense blacks and pinched apertures feel assertive and gritty, evoking retro signage, nightclub posters, and bold editorial punchlines. The overall tone is loud and graphic rather than refined or quiet.

The design appears intended to maximize visual mass in a compact width while adding character through collapsed counters and deliberate notches. The result is a distinctive, display-driven texture that prioritizes bold presence and memorable silhouettes over traditional text clarity.

Legibility relies heavily on outer silhouettes because many counters are minimized; this boosts impact at larger sizes but can make similar shapes feel closer together in text. Numerals and capitals maintain the same heavy, compressed logic, reinforcing a consistent headline texture across mixed content.
