This typeface uses broken, wedge-like strokes that feel carved or cut from paper, with sharp terminals, tapered joins, and frequent internal notches that interrupt the main stems. Letterforms are loosely serifed through pointed spur shapes rather than consistent bracketed serifs, creating a restless rhythm across words. Counters tend to be pinched and asymmetrical, and many characters appear constructed from separated fragments, giving a semi-stenciled impression. Overall spacing and silhouettes are intentionally uneven, with some glyphs narrowing to slivers while others flare into broader, blade-like strokes.

Best suited for short-form display work where its carved texture can be appreciated: posters, book or album titles, themed packaging, and event flyers. It can also support atmospheric UI elements for games or interactive fiction when used sparingly and at generous sizes. For longer paragraphs, it works more as a flavor accent (pull quotes, chapter heads) than as continuous reading text.

The tone is theatrical and uncanny, suggesting hand-made markings, ritual signage, or a fantastical artifact. Its jagged modulation and fractured forms read as playful-but-sinister, leaning toward magical, folkloric, and slightly chaotic visual narratives.

The design appears aimed at producing a distinctive, hand-crafted texture that evokes cutting, carving, or scratched ink rather than smooth drawn outlines. Its irregular fragmentation and pointed detailing prioritize mood and character over conventional readability, making it a purposeful decorative voice for themed, imaginative contexts.

The font’s distinctive texture comes from recurring cut-ins and voids that create sparkle at larger sizes but can merge into noise in smaller settings. Capitals and lowercase share the same carved logic, keeping the set cohesive despite the irregular construction. Numerals echo the same notched, blade-like stroke behavior, making them feel integrated rather than appended.
