A very heavy, high-contrast serif with pronounced flaring where stems meet serifs, producing wedge-like terminals and a carved, sculptural silhouette. Curves are broad and taut, with sharp interior joins and occasional notch-like cuts that read as ink-trap-like detailing at tight corners. Counters are moderately open for the weight, while the overall rhythm is compact and punchy, with strong vertical stress and crisp, angled finishing throughout. Numerals and capitals feel sturdy and monumental, matching the dense color and emphatic stroke endings seen across the text sample.

Best suited to large sizes where the flared terminals and sharp internal shaping can be appreciated—headlines, magazine and book display typography, posters, and bold branding moments. It can work for short blocks of text when a dense, dramatic typographic color is desired, but its strongest performance is in titles, pull quotes, and prominent labeling.

The face projects a bold, authoritative tone with a classic, slightly theatrical edge. Its flared serifs and chiselled joins evoke heritage print and engraved lettering, giving headlines a formal, declarative presence.

Designed to deliver maximum impact with a traditional serif voice, combining high-contrast strokes with flared, wedge-like serifs for a distinctive, engraved-inspired finish. The intent appears to be strong readability at display sizes while maintaining a refined, editorial character rather than a purely geometric or slab-driven feel.

The lowercase includes sturdy, compact forms with emphatic terminals and a single-storey 'g', reinforcing the display-first character. The texture in paragraph-like settings remains dark and attention-grabbing, with the distinctive flared ends creating a lively, faceted sparkle along word shapes.
