A high-contrast slab serif with heavy, squared terminals and an intentionally mechanical, typewriter-like construction. Stems are strong and fairly straight, while bowls and curves are rounded but interrupted by distinctive pinched or notched cut-ins that create an ink-trap/stencil-like interior rhythm. Serifs read as bold and blocky with a slightly bracketed join in places, and the overall texture is punchy with clear dark/light modulation across curves and joins. Numerals are large and open, matching the sturdy, engineered feel of the letters.

Best suited to display use such as headlines, posters, branding marks, and packaging where its notched detailing and heavy slabs can be appreciated. It can also work for short paragraphs or pull quotes when a typewriter/retro-industrial texture is desired, especially at medium-to-large sizes.

The face conveys a rugged, workmanlike personality with a clear vintage typewriter and old-poster association. Its notched counters and emphatic slabs add a hint of Western/industrial character, giving text a confident, slightly gritty presence rather than a polished literary tone.

The design appears aimed at combining a classic slab-serif foundation with distinctive notched/ink-trap-like shaping to evoke typewritten and vintage print textures. The goal seems to be strong legibility with added personality, making familiar letterforms feel more rugged and characterful.

The repeated interior notches create a strong horizontal cadence in running text, producing a distinctive pattern that’s more expressive than neutral. At larger sizes the detailing reads as intentional character; in smaller settings it may become visually busy compared with plainer slabs.
