A conventional serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and bracketed serifs throughout. Curves show a subtle calligraphic stress, with tapered joins and crisp, well-defined terminals that stay refined rather than blunt. Uppercase proportions feel steady and classical, while the lowercase shows slightly more movement through angled entry strokes, a two-storey “g,” and compact, rounded counters. Numerals and punctuation follow the same high-contrast logic, giving the face a composed rhythm that reads cleanly at text sizes and gains elegance as it scales up.

Well suited to long-form reading such as books and essays, as well as magazine and newspaper-style editorial layouts. It also fits formal communications—reports, invitations, and institutional materials—where a classic serif voice and crisp typographic hierarchy are desired.

The tone is traditional and bookish, with a formal, editorial polish. Its sharp contrast and restrained detailing evoke established print typography—confident, authoritative, and suited to serious subject matter rather than playful or experimental uses.

The design appears intended as a dependable, classical text serif that delivers a familiar print feel with elevated contrast for elegance. It aims to balance readability and refinement, providing a versatile foundation for editorial systems and traditional branding.

Stroke endings and serifs remain consistent across caps and lowercase, helping paragraphs feel even despite the strong contrast. The face favors clarity and refinement over display theatrics, with a measured texture in continuous text.
