A serif typeface with gently bracketed, subtly flared serifs and softly modulated strokes that feel informed by broad‑nib calligraphy. The proportions are compact with rounded bowls and a calm, even rhythm; terminals tend to finish with small wedges or teardrop-like flicks rather than hard cuts. Uppercase forms show traditional Roman construction (notably the curved leg of R and a slightly calligraphic Q tail), while the lowercase features a two-storey a, a two-storey g with a delicate ear, and a slender f with a pronounced descender. Figures are oldstyle in spirit, with varying heights and a particularly curved 2 and open 4 that reinforce a text-centric character.

Well suited to editorial typography such as books, essays, and magazine features where a traditional serif texture is desired. Its distinctive details can also support branding, packaging, and cultural or academic materials that benefit from a classic, established tone.

The overall tone is classical and literary, suggesting printed tradition rather than modern minimalism. Its softened joins and restrained ornament give it a refined, slightly vintage voice that feels suited to long-form reading and culturally “bookish” settings.

The design appears intended as a readable, tradition-leaning serif with modest calligraphic influence and a few characterful constructions to keep the page lively. It aims to balance familiar text-serif conventions with small, memorable gestures in key glyphs and numerals.

Serifs and joins remain consistent across the set, with mild idiosyncrasies (notably in Q, g, and the numerals) that add personality without becoming overly decorative. The texture in paragraph setting appears smooth and moderately dark for a regular serif, with clear differentiation between similar shapes.
