This typeface is a serif italic with a calligraphic, right-leaning construction and smoothly bracketed serifs. Strokes show a clear thick–thin modulation with diagonal stress, producing an elegant rhythm in both capitals and lowercase. Proportions are fairly traditional, with moderate ascenders and descenders and open, readable counters; the lowercase includes italic forms such as a single-storey “a” and a looped “g”. Numerals are also italic and follow the same flowing contrast and serif treatment, giving the set a cohesive, text-oriented texture.

It is well suited to book and editorial typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, quotations, introductions, or side-notes. The refined contrast and traditional serif detailing also make it a strong choice for formal printed materials such as invitations, programs, and cultured branding, particularly at text and small display sizes where its rhythm remains legible.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with a refined, editorial feel. Its slanted forms and crisp serifs convey formality and a sense of tradition, while the smooth modulation adds a poised, cultivated voice suited to long-form reading.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic that balances classical proportions with a gentle calligraphic slant. Its consistent modulation and restrained detailing suggest a focus on readability and typographic hierarchy rather than decorative display.

In the sample text, the italic color is even and continuous, with clean joins and tapered terminals that keep the texture lively without becoming overly ornate. Capitals remain dignified and stable despite the slant, pairing well with the more cursive energy of the lowercase.
