A rough-edged, ink-stamped serif with visibly irregular contours and subtly wavering stems. Stroke endings often widen into soft, blunted wedges, and many curves show slight flattening or bumpiness that suggests worn type or uneven printing. The letterforms keep a traditional serif skeleton, but their proportions vary from glyph to glyph, creating a lively rhythm and a slightly jostled baseline and spacing impression in text. Counters are generally open and clear, while the texture stays consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals.

Best suited to display settings where texture is an asset—posters, book covers, product packaging, labels, and branding marks that want a vintage or handcrafted signal. It can work for short passages or pull quotes when set with generous size and spacing, but its strong surface texture and irregularity are most effective in headlines and titling.

The font reads as rustic and handmade, with a lightly antiquarian tone that feels pulled from old packaging, folk ephemera, or a well-used print shop drawer. Its imperfect edges and inky weight give it a friendly, story-driven character rather than a polished editorial voice.

The design appears intended to emulate aged or imperfect letterpress output: a classic serif structure softened by wear, ink spread, and irregular outlines. The goal is to add immediate atmosphere and tactile character while keeping letterforms familiar enough for confident reading.

Caps carry the strongest decorative presence, with chunky, softened serifs and a subtly chiseled look. Lowercase maintains readability but retains the same worn texture, especially on rounded shapes and terminals. Numerals match the text with irregular curves and weighty, inked forms, reinforcing the distressed print feel.
