A bold italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a forward, calligraphic slant. Serifs are compact and largely bracketed, reading as wedge-like at many joins, while curves show diagonal stress and crisp transitions into heavier stems. The letterforms are relatively wide and energetic, with rounded counters and occasional ball terminals in the lower case; the overall rhythm is lively rather than rigidly geometric. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, with strong weight in the main strokes and tapered finishing details.

Best suited to headlines, decks, pull quotes, and other editorial typography where a confident italic serif can carry emphasis. It also fits packaging or cultural branding that wants a classic serif tone with extra momentum; in longer passages it will read as bold and attention-forward rather than quiet body text.

The font conveys a traditional, editorial confidence—formal and literary, but with enough italic motion to feel expressive and slightly dramatic. Its boldness and contrast give it a persuasive, headline-ready voice suited to emphatic statements and refined branding.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation in a forceful italic voice—combining traditional bracketed serifs and high-contrast modulation with display-oriented weight for impact and emphasis.

In text, the heavy weight and strong contrast create a dark, high-impact color on the page, and the italic angle produces noticeable horizontal flow. The italic forms are clearly drawn (not simply slanted), with distinct entry/exit strokes and lively terminals that add character in display sizes.
