A jagged, display-oriented face with aggressively tapered strokes, sharp terminals, and irregular, torn-looking contours. The forms lean with an italic slant and show uneven stroke rhythm, creating a hand-cut, distressed silhouette rather than smooth curves. Counters are often pinched or asymmetrical (notably in rounded letters), and spacing feels intentionally uneven for a jittery, animated texture. Numerals and capitals maintain the same spined, blade-like construction, keeping the set visually cohesive.

Best suited for short headlines, titles, and branding moments where mood is more important than extended readability—such as horror posters, thriller packaging, haunted-event promotions, and game or streaming artwork. It can also work for punchy pull quotes or chapter openers when used with generous tracking and ample size.

The overall tone is ominous and high-tension, evoking horror title cards, occult signage, and supernatural storytelling. Its rough, clawed edges and nervous slant read as dangerous and unstable, trading refinement for shock and atmosphere.

The design appears intended to deliver an immediate horror-forward impact through spiked, distressed letterforms and a dynamic italic lean. By embracing irregularity and sharp, carved terminals, it aims to make even simple words feel tense, ritualistic, and cinematic.

Legibility is strongest at larger sizes where the spurs and internal nicks remain distinct; at smaller sizes the distressed edges can visually fill in and make similar shapes converge. The font’s visual energy comes from consistent sharp terminals and irregular stroke widths, giving text a restless, flickering presence across lines.
