A condensed, upright text face with irregular, eroded contours that mimic worn ink and rough impression. Strokes maintain a generally steady thickness but break into ragged edges and occasional bulges, creating a lively, uneven rhythm. Terminals often end bluntly or with slight hooks, and counters can look pinched or partially clogged, especially in rounded forms. Overall spacing reads compact, with variable widths and a slightly jittery baseline presence that reinforces the distressed texture.

Best suited to display use where texture is meant to be seen: titles, posters, cover art, and themed branding for spooky, gritty, or retro concepts. It can work for short bursts of copy (taglines, pull quotes) when set with generous size and tracking, but it’s less appropriate for long-form reading where the distressed edges may fatigue the eye.

The texture and jagged silhouettes give a gritty, haunted tone—evoking aged printing, DIY posters, and horror-adjacent ephemera. It feels energetic and abrasive rather than polished, leaning into tension and drama through its torn-ink character.

The design appears intended to deliver a condensed, attention-grabbing voice while simulating degraded printing or scratched-in lettering. Its consistent erosion and compact proportions suggest a purposeful blend of legibility and atmosphere for theme-driven display typography.

The distressed treatment is consistent across capitals, lowercase, and numerals, helping the set feel cohesive even as individual glyphs show uneven edges. At larger sizes the texture becomes a primary visual feature; at smaller sizes the roughness can reduce clarity as interior spaces tighten.
