A sharp, broken-stroke letterform with pronounced angularity and steep, chiseled joins. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation with abrupt transitions, and many terminals finish in tapered, blade-like points or small hooked flicks. Capitals are ornate and irregularly contoured with internal notches and spur details, while lowercase forms are narrower and more vertical, creating a dense texture in words. Counters are generally tight and dark, and spacing reads slightly uneven in a hand-drawn way, reinforcing a crafted, historically referential rhythm. Numerals and punctuation carry the same cut, calligraphic logic, with occasional swashes and pointed entry/exit strokes.

Best suited to display typography where its intricate broken strokes and strong contrast can be appreciated—posters, event titles, branding marks, packaging accents, album artwork, and chapter heads. It performs particularly well in short lines, drop caps, and nameplates where a medieval or gothic atmosphere is desired.

The overall tone is gothic and ceremonial, evoking manuscripts, heraldic inscriptions, and old-world proclamations. Its high drama and black density suggest seriousness and mystique, with an antique, storybook menace rather than a neutral editorial voice.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional blackletter calligraphy with a deliberately handmade edge—maintaining the historical, angular construction while adding lively terminal flicks and slightly irregular contours for personality and texture.

At text sizes the dense interior color and spiky terminals can create visual noise, while larger settings reveal the nuanced cuts, nicks, and calligraphic flicks that give the face its character. Capital letters are especially attention-grabbing and can dominate a line, making them effective for initials and short phrases.
