A hatched, outline-driven italic with forms built from short diagonal strokes rather than continuous contours. The letter shapes read as simplified sans constructions, but with intentionally broken edges, uneven joins, and occasional stray marks that give a hand-drawn, pen-scribble texture. Counters stay fairly open and proportions are generally consistent across the set, while the textured fill creates a lively, shimmering rhythm in words. Curves and diagonals feel loosely rendered, producing an irregular baseline impression despite overall alignment.

Best suited to posters, headlines, packaging callouts, and other display applications where the hatched texture can be appreciated. It can also work for album art, event promos, stickers, or playful editorial accents, especially when paired with a cleaner text face for longer reading.

The repeating diagonal hatching and imperfect outlines create a casual, mischievous tone that feels doodled and spontaneous. It suggests DIY craft, zine graphics, or notebook sketches—more expressive than precise—bringing a light, humorous energy to short phrases and display settings.

The design appears intended to mimic quick, diagonal pen shading inside simplified letterforms, turning the act of sketching into a consistent typographic texture. Its goal is less about neutrality and more about adding personality and motion through irregular stroke fragments and a scribbled surface.

The texture is integral to recognition: at larger sizes the individual strokes become a prominent pattern, while at smaller sizes the hatching can visually merge into a grainy gray, reducing crispness. Wide letters like W and M retain the same hatched logic, and rounded glyphs (O, Q, a, e) keep identifiable counters even with the broken perimeter.
