This typeface is a high-contrast serif with sharp, tapered terminals and subtly flared stroke endings that give the forms a sculpted, calligraphic feel. Vertical strokes read strong and dark while hairlines stay very thin, creating a lively thick–thin rhythm across both roman capitals and lowercase. Serifs are crisp and lightly bracketed, with pronounced triangular shaping on several caps and diagonals that feel carefully chiseled rather than blunt. Counters are generally compact and the curves are taut, producing a polished, display-leaning texture with clear, confident letterfit in the sample setting.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and other prominent typographic moments where high contrast can be a feature. It can work for upscale branding, packaging, and event collateral (such as invitations) that benefit from a refined serif voice. In longer text, it will be most comfortable at larger sizes and with generous spacing to preserve its fine details.

The overall tone is poised and luxurious, combining a traditional bookish foundation with a fashion-forward sharpness. Its contrast and tapered details add drama and sophistication, giving text a curated, boutique editorial presence rather than a purely utilitarian one.

The design appears intended to deliver a modernized, high-contrast serif voice with flared, tapered finishes—balancing classical proportions with sharper, more dramatic detailing for contemporary editorial and branding use.

The numerals and capitals carry a particularly formal, headline-oriented presence, while the lowercase maintains a slightly softer, more literary cadence. The design’s thin hairlines and pointed terminals make it feel most at home at larger sizes where the detailing can read cleanly.
