A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flaring stroke endings and wedge-like serifs that feel carved rather than mechanically slabbed. Stems are strong and vertical, while hairlines taper quickly into thin, crisp connections, creating a pronounced thick–thin rhythm. Curves are generous and smooth (notably in O/C/S), with sharp inner joins and pointed beak-like terminals in places, giving the letterforms a chiseled, calligraphic edge. Uppercase proportions read sturdy and authoritative, while the lowercase keeps a moderate x-height with compact counters and lively, tapered exits.

Best suited to display settings where contrast and detailing can be appreciated—magazine headlines, feature openers, book and album covers, poster titles, and elevated branding. It also works well for short bursts of text such as pull quotes or section heads where a classic, high-impact serif is desired.

The overall tone is assertive and refined, pairing a traditional editorial seriousness with a touch of theatrical punch. The sharp contrast and flared terminals add a sense of ceremony and drama, making the type feel premium and attention-grabbing without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with heightened contrast and expressive, flared finishing, emphasizing sharpness, elegance, and visual authority in display typography.

At larger sizes the thin hairlines and tight apertures heighten the crispness and elegance, while the bolder strokes maintain strong presence. The numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with angled cuts and tapered joins that keep them consistent with the text face.
