A lightly serifed text face with narrow hairlines, slightly flared terminals, and softly bracketed serifs that feel closer to pen-and-ink or worn letterpress than clean digital outlines. Strokes show irregular edge texture and occasional wobble, giving counters and stems a subtly uneven, aged impression while keeping the overall construction readable. Proportions are moderately open, with rounded forms (O, o, e) kept airy and a generally calm, upright rhythm; the caps are prominent and the lowercase maintains a classic book-text silhouette.

Works well for book covers, editorial headlines, pull quotes, and short-to-medium text where a historical or handmade flavor is desirable. It also suits posters, labels, and packaging that benefit from an aged print impression, especially when paired with simple layouts and plenty of whitespace.

The font conveys a vintage, hand-touched tone—like old printed ephemera, weathered book pages, or imperfect inking. Its gentle roughness reads as human and atmospheric rather than aggressive, adding character while staying legible in short passages.

The design appears intended to mimic traditional serif typography that has been softened by time and process—imperfect inking, worn plates, or rough paper—while preserving a familiar, readable text structure. It aims to add atmosphere and authenticity to otherwise conventional serif letterforms.

Texture is consistent across letters and numerals, producing a cohesive distressed finish without collapsing fine details. Numerals keep the same lightly irregular, print-worn feel and sit comfortably alongside the text. Spacing appears even enough for paragraph settings, though the edge texture makes it feel more artisanal than formal.
