A high-contrast serif with sharp hairlines set against confidently weighted vertical stems and a largely vertical stress. Serifs are fine and neatly bracketed, giving joins a clean, cut-in feel without looking slabby. The letterforms are relatively narrow with tall proportions, and the curves resolve into crisp terminals that occasionally become ball terminals in the lower case (notably in forms like a, f, j, and y). Counters are open and well-shaped, and the overall rhythm is steady and measured, reading as a conventional book serif with a dressy, display-ready edge.

Well suited to editorial settings such as magazines, book typography, and sophisticated long-form layouts where a refined serif voice is desired. The pronounced contrast and hairline details make it especially effective for headlines, pull quotes, and upscale brand identities, and it can also serve as a primary text face in print contexts where fine detail will reproduce cleanly.

The font conveys a polished, cultured tone associated with literary and fashion-adjacent typography. Its sharp contrast and delicate detailing add a sense of luxury and ceremony, while the conventional construction keeps it grounded and authoritative rather than eccentric.

The design appears intended to deliver a timeless, conventional serif structure enhanced by modern high-contrast finesse. It balances readability-focused proportions with ornamental sharpness to provide an elevated tone for contemporary editorial and branding work.

Uppercase characters show strong inscriptional clarity, while the lowercase adds a touch of calligraphic refinement through curved terminals and occasional teardrop/ball endings. Numerals follow the same contrast logic and feel designed to sit comfortably alongside text, with clear silhouettes and a consistent baseline presence.
