A serifed, calligraphic roman with sharp, tapered terminals and pronounced thick–thin modeling. Stems often end in wedge-like flicks and small flares, while serifs feel partially formed—more like pen-finished strokes than rigid slabs. The proportions are slightly condensed in many capitals, with narrow internal counters and a relatively small x-height that gives lowercase a compact, vertical rhythm. Curves (C, O, G, S) show controlled swelling and clean joins, and several letters feature distinctive entry/exit strokes that create a lively, hand-finished texture without connecting strokes.

Best suited to display settings such as titles, chapter heads, book covers, invitations, and brand marks where the tapered stroke endings and compact lowercase can be appreciated. It can work for short paragraphs at comfortable sizes, but the small x-height and intricate terminals suggest avoiding very small text or dense UI contexts.

The overall tone reads formal and traditional, with a hint of medieval or Renaissance scribal flavor. Its crisp tapering and decorative terminals give text a ceremonial, old-world character—more “crafted manuscript” than modern editorial.

The design appears intended to evoke a formal, hand-rendered serif tradition—combining readable roman structures with pen-driven modulation and decorative finishing. It prioritizes character and historic atmosphere while keeping letterforms coherent enough for continuous text in measured doses.

Uppercase forms carry much of the personality, with expressive diagonals (K, X, Y) and pointed, slightly asymmetric terminals that add sparkle in headlines. Numerals follow the same calligraphic logic, with curved strokes and tapered ends that keep them visually consistent with the alphabet.
