A heavy, compact serif with chunky proportions and a strongly inked silhouette. Strokes are thick and relatively even, with slightly tapered joins and pronounced, bracketed serifs that read as sturdy rather than delicate. The edges are intentionally irregular and roughened, producing a worn, printed texture across stems, bowls, and terminals. Counters are tight and rounded, spacing is compact, and the overall rhythm is dense and punchy, especially in uppercase.

Best used for display settings where texture and impact are desirable: posters, large headlines, rustic or heritage-inspired signage, and bold branding moments such as logotypes and packaging labels. It can work for short subheads or callouts, but the heavy color and distressed detail are most effective when given room and scale.

The roughened outlines and bold, compressed stance evoke a vintage, workmanlike tone—part old poster, part rubber-stamp grit. It feels assertive and tactile, suggesting utilitarian printing, rustic signage, and heritage branding rather than polished editorial typography.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence with a vintage, worn-print character—combining traditional serif construction with a deliberately weathered surface to suggest age, grit, and analog production.

The distressed treatment is consistent across the alphabet and numerals, creating a coherent “ink bite” effect that becomes more pronounced at larger sizes. In text, the dense weight and tight counters can darken quickly, making the style best suited to short bursts rather than long reading.
