A sharp, calligraphic blackletter with broken strokes, pointed terminals, and pronounced thick–thin contrast. The capitals are highly stylized with sweeping entry strokes and curved spurs, while the lowercase maintains a tight, rhythmic texture built from vertical stems and angled joins. Counters are small and often enclosed, producing a dense color on the page; round forms are constructed from segmented, faceted curves rather than smooth bowls. Numerals follow the same pen-driven logic, mixing upright strokes with hooked and curved finishing flicks for a cohesive set.

Well suited to display typography such as mastheads, posters, book titles, packaging labels, and identity marks where a historic or ritualized mood is desired. It works particularly well for short phrases, headings, and emblem-like settings where the intricate stroke work can be appreciated.

The overall tone is medieval and ceremonial, evoking manuscript lettering, heraldic headings, and old-world craftsmanship. Its crisp angles and dramatic contrast lend an authoritative, solemn voice that can feel traditional, gothic, or slightly ominous depending on context.

The design appears intended to capture a pen-nib blackletter look with crisp, angular construction and ornamental capitals, balancing traditional manuscript character with consistent, repeatable letterforms for contemporary display use.

At text sizes the compact interior spaces and fractured curves create a strongly patterned texture, so it reads best with generous size and spacing. The uppercase has a notably decorative presence and can dominate a line, making it especially suited to initials and short uppercase runs.
