A very heavy, high-contrast serif with sculpted, wedge-like terminals that flare out from the stems, producing a carved, almost calligraphic rhythm. The letterforms show pronounced thick–thin transitions, rounded bowls, and confident vertical stress, with sharp internal cuts and angled joins that create lively negative spaces. Lowercase shapes keep a tall, sturdy presence with compact apertures and strong entry/exit strokes, while caps feel monumental and slightly condensed in stance. Numerals and punctuation match the same flared, chiseled logic, maintaining a consistent, bold color across lines.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, pull quotes, magazine nameplates, posters, and brand marks where strong contrast and flared serifs can be appreciated. It can also work for short subheads and packaging copy when set with comfortable tracking and leading to preserve clarity.

The overall tone is formal and dramatic, combining classical bookish cues with a punchy, display-forward presence. It feels assertive and vintage-leaning, suitable for attention-grabbing headlines that still want a traditional serif voice.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, classic serif voice with expressive, flared stroke endings—balancing tradition with a more theatrical, engraved-like punch for modern editorial and branding contexts.

At text sizes the heavy weight and tight counters can create dense texture, while in larger settings the angular cuts, flared endings, and sharp contrasts become the main visual character. The design reads best when given enough size and spacing to let the internal shapes stay open.
