A high-contrast serif with strong vertical stress, hairline horizontals, and crisp, bracketed serifs. The capitals are stately and relatively narrow with sharp apexes (notably in A and V/W) and thin cross-strokes that heighten the sparkle. Lowercase forms show a traditional text rhythm with a two-storey a, a compact e with a fine horizontal bar, and a g with a pronounced lower loop; terminals tend toward tapered, slightly calligraphic finishes. Numerals follow the same contrast model, with slender diagonals and delicate joins that read best when given adequate size and spacing.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazine features, book typography, and long-form layouts where a classic serif voice is desired. It also performs effectively in headlines, pull quotes, and refined branding when set with enough size to preserve its thin strokes and crisp details.

The overall tone is polished and formal, evoking bookish authority and editorial sophistication. Its dramatic contrast and refined detailing give it a premium, classical feel suited to cultured, high-end communication.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional, authoritative serif voice with heightened elegance through pronounced stroke contrast and carefully tapered details. It balances familiar text-serif structures with a more glamorous, fashion/editorial finish.

In the sample text, the light hairlines and tight interior counters create a lively texture that can look brilliant in display and strong at comfortable reading sizes, but may appear fragile in very small settings or on low-resolution output. The glyphs maintain a consistent vertical rhythm, with occasional sharp beak-like terminals that add bite without becoming decorative.
