A narrow, calligraphic display face with sharp, angular construction and pronounced stroke modulation. Stems and diagonals end in tapered, blade-like terminals, while bowls and rounds are kept tight and slightly irregular, giving the set a drawn-by-hand rhythm. Capitals are tall and stately with pointed joins and flared entry/exit strokes, and the lowercase maintains a compact, vertical texture with occasional exaggerated hooks and spurs. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, mixing crisp straight segments with teardrop-like curves for a cohesive, chiseled color on the page.

Best suited to headlines, titles, posters, and branding moments where a historic or gothic voice is desired. It can work for short blurbs or pull quotes at generous sizes, but its sharp details and tight spacing characteristics are most effective in display settings rather than long body text.

The overall tone feels medieval and ceremonial, with a dramatic, gothic seriousness that reads as formal and historic rather than casual. Its sharp edges and calligraphic stress convey authority and ritual, evoking manuscript lettering and heraldic display.

The font appears designed to translate medieval calligraphic and blackletter cues into a consistent, contemporary display cut—preserving sharp pen logic, strong verticality, and ornamental bite while remaining usable for modern titling and branding.

The design produces a dense vertical cadence typical of blackletter-inspired forms, but with simplified, more open counters in places to keep words readable in short passages. Several glyphs show intentionally idiosyncratic stroke endings and asymmetric curves, reinforcing a crafted, pen-driven character.
