A high-contrast serif with crisp, tapered serifs and finely drawn hairlines that snap into sturdy vertical stems. The uppercase shows wide, elegant proportions with sharp joins and controlled bracketed transitions, while the lowercase introduces more calligraphic movement—noticeable in the flowing, italic-like stress of letters such as a, g, v, w, and y. Terminals are often teardrop or wedge-shaped, adding sparkle at text sizes and a distinctive rhythm in display use. Numerals follow the same contrast logic, with slim horizontals and pronounced thick–thin modulation.

Well-suited to editorial layouts, magazine typography, and book covers where contrast and elegance are desirable. It will also work effectively for luxury-oriented branding, pull quotes, and section headings, particularly when set with generous spacing and high-quality reproduction.

The overall tone is polished and cultured, balancing traditional bookish authority with a fashion-forward edge. Its shimmering contrast and pointed detailing read as premium and intentional, giving headlines a sense of drama without feeling ornamental or playful.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary, high-contrast reading of a classic serif tradition—combining a stately uppercase with a more expressive, calligraphic lowercase to provide both authority and character in display and editorial typography.

In continuous text the strong vertical emphasis and sharp serifs create a lively texture, while the more expressive lowercase shapes add personality and motion. The italicized feel in several lowercase forms can make mixed-case settings feel dynamic and slightly bespoke, especially in shorter lines and titles.
