A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a distinctly calligraphic construction. Serifs are bracketed and wedge-like, with tapered terminals and occasional spur-like details that add bite to the silhouettes. Counters are moderately open, curves are smoothly modeled, and joins show a subtle pen-informed swelling that keeps the rhythm lively. The lowercase is compact and energetic, with a single-storey “a,” a looped “g,” and a relatively low, right-leaning stress that reinforces the italic flow; figures follow the same angled, high-contrast pattern with strong, weighty stems.

Best suited to display roles such as headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and book-cover titling where its contrast and slant can read clearly. It can also support short editorial passages at comfortable sizes when a strong, classical voice is desired, especially in magazines, cultural programs, and brand systems that want a refined but forceful italic presence.

The overall tone is traditional and emphatic, combining editorial polish with a slightly theatrical, vintage flair. Its sharp terminals and confident slant read as energetic and persuasive, while the serif detailing maintains a disciplined, bookish seriousness.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif structure through a more expressive italic voice—combining book-type familiarity with heightened contrast, sharper terminals, and a persuasive, headline-ready stance.

Spacing in the samples feels intentionally tight and cohesive, producing dark, even text color at larger sizes. The italic angle is consistent across capitals, lowercase, and numerals, and the high-contrast modeling remains stable from straight-sided forms (like H, N) to rounded forms (like O, Q).
