A refined serif with strong stroke modulation and thin hairline details, combining crisp, bracketed serifs with sharply tapered terminals. Capitals are broad and calmly proportioned, with generous spacing and a measured, horizontal rhythm. The lowercase shows a traditional text-serf construction with round bowls, narrow joins, and compact, neatly finished ascenders and descenders; the two-storey a and g emphasize a conventional, editorial feel. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with delicate curves and clean, poised finishes.

It works particularly well for editorial typography—magazine features, book jackets, and essay titles—where elegant contrast and classic serif cues are desirable. The broad proportions make it effective for headlines and refined branding wordmarks, especially when set with comfortable tracking and ample leading.

The overall tone is classical and cultivated, reading as restrained rather than decorative. Its thin serifs and polished contrast lend a sense of authority and sophistication, suited to literary and institutional contexts.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on a conventional text serif: classic structure and readability cues, paired with elevated contrast and a spacious, display-friendly width for a more luxurious page color.

Diagonal strokes and joins stay crisp and controlled, while curved letters maintain smooth, even bowls despite the fine hairlines. The design’s wide letterforms and airy counters create an open texture in display sizes, but the thinnest details call for sufficient resolution and size to remain clear.
