A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, tapered terminals. Serifs appear mostly bracketed with wedge-like shaping, and many strokes end in sharp, calligraphic cuts that reinforce the italic angle. Proportions are moderately condensed with a compact, slightly varied rhythm between characters, and the lowercase shows a lively texture with single-storey forms and strong entry/exit strokes. Numerals and capitals maintain the high-contrast structure and remain sturdy and legible at display sizes.

This font is well suited to editorial typography—magazines, essays, and book interiors—especially for passages requiring emphasis such as pull quotes, introductions, and italicized terminology. It also works effectively for refined headlines and subheads where a classic serif voice and strong contrast help create hierarchy.

The overall tone is traditional and cultivated, with a bookish, editorial feel. Its energetic italic movement adds a sense of elegance and rhetorical emphasis without becoming overly ornamental. The result feels suited to classic publishing and heritage-minded design.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic that brings a traditional, print-oriented texture with clear calligraphic cues. Its emphasis is on refined contrast, crisp finishing, and a composed rhythm that supports extended reading while still feeling expressive in display applications.

The italic construction is evident across both cases, with angled stress in rounds and decisive diagonals in letters like v, w, x, and y. The contrast and sharp terminals create a bright page color at larger sizes, while the slightly varied letter widths give lines a natural, typeset cadence.
