A condensed, vertical blackletter with pronounced thick–thin contrast and crisp, angular turns. Strokes end in tapered, wedge-like terminals and hooked feet, giving the forms a carved, inked-pen feel with a tight, rhythmic texture. Counters are compact and often partially enclosed, while capitals stand tall with narrow internal spaces and firm, pillar-like stems. Lowercase maintains a consistent upright stance with pointed joins and a slightly irregular, hand-cut cadence that keeps the texture lively without becoming chaotic.

Best suited to display settings where its dense texture and sharp detailing can read as a deliberate stylistic choice—headlines, posters, packaging, book or album covers, and brand marks that aim for a historic or ceremonial tone. It will be most effective at larger sizes or with generous tracking when set in longer lines.

The overall tone is medieval and ceremonial, projecting drama and authority with a slightly ominous edge. Its dense vertical rhythm and sharp detailing evoke heraldry, Gothic manuscripts, and historic signage, creating an atmosphere that feels traditional, solemn, and story-driven.

The design appears intended to deliver a compact, high-impact Gothic voice with consistent vertical rhythm and strong contrast, prioritizing atmosphere and historical character over neutral readability. Its condensed proportions and decorative terminals suggest a focus on attention-grabbing titling and identity work.

In the sample text, the font builds a strong, continuous “black” texture; spacing appears intentionally tight to emphasize verticality and pattern. The numerals follow the same narrow, high-contrast construction, reading as stylized and decorative rather than purely utilitarian.
