An italic serif with modulated strokes and a consistent inline cut running through much of the letterform, creating a carved, engraved look. Capitals are slightly narrow with bracketed serifs and smooth, calligraphic curves; bowls and diagonals show clear pen-like modulation without extreme hairlines. Lowercase features flowing joins and gently tapered terminals, with a noticeable slant and a steady rhythm in text. Numerals follow the same italic, engraved treatment, mixing rounded forms with crisp, slanted stress and the same internal line detail.

Best suited to display roles where the inline carving can be appreciated: headlines, cover titles, posters, and branded wordmarks. It can also work for short editorial pulls or subheads when you want a classic italic voice with added ornament, but the decorative interior detail favors moderate-to-large sizes.

The inline detail gives the face a decorative, heritage tone that reads as traditional and crafted rather than purely utilitarian. Its italic posture and engraved flavor suggest formality and a touch of theatrical elegance, evoking editorial mastheads and vintage display typography.

Designed to combine a traditional italic serif structure with an engraved inline effect, adding dimensionality and ornament without abandoning readability. The overall intention feels geared toward refined display typography that nods to historical printing and lettered signage.

The internal inline channel remains visually prominent at larger sizes, adding texture and a sense of depth; in denser settings it can create a darker, more patterned color. Curves stay smooth and controlled, while serifs and terminals provide crisp punctuation to the otherwise flowing italic movement.
