A very heavy, high-contrast serif italic with strongly bracketed wedge serifs and a pronounced forward slant. Strokes transition from thick stems to hairline joins, creating a crisp, engraved-like rhythm despite the bold overall color. Curves are full and slightly condensed in places, with energetic entry/exit strokes, sharp beak-like terminals on some forms, and occasional ball terminals (notably in the lower-case). The numerals are similarly stylized and weighty, with curvy, angled construction that keeps the set lively and expressive.

Best for display typography such as magazine headlines, book or film titles, posters, and bold brand marks where a classic serif voice with motion is desired. It can also work for short editorial subheads or pull quotes when strong contrast and italic emphasis are part of the visual hierarchy.

The tone is assertive and theatrical, combining traditional serif formality with a fast, sporty italic momentum. It reads as confident and attention-seeking, suited to statements, headlines, and emphatic typographic moments rather than quiet neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif italic with heightened drama: oversized weight, sharp contrast, and brisk slanted movement for impactful reading at larger sizes. It balances recognizable, conventional serif structures with more expressive terminals to stand out in contemporary display settings.

The pronounced slant and strong thick–thin contrast create a noticeable texture in longer lines, with tight internal counters in several letters at display sizes. Uppercase forms feel sturdy and monumental, while lowercase adds a more calligraphic, lively character through swashed-like joins and rounded terminals.
