This typeface is a steeply slanted serif with strong stroke modulation and flared, tapering terminals that give the outlines a carved, calligraphic feel. Vertical strokes are robust while joins and curves thin quickly, creating crisp, high-energy interior counters and pointed transitions. Serifs appear wedge-like and bracketed, with many strokes finishing in sharp, angled ends rather than blunt cuts, reinforcing a sense of motion. The rhythm is compact and forward-leaning, with lively curves in letters like S, a, g, and y and a distinctly italic construction across both capitals and lowercase.

It performs best where its high-contrast, flared details can be appreciated: headlines, magazine display typography, brand marks and wordmarks, posters, and premium packaging. Short passages and pull quotes can work when set generously, but the energetic slant and sharp tapering favor display sizes over dense body copy.

The overall tone is theatrical and upscale, balancing classical serif cues with a more flamboyant, swash-adjacent italic energy. It reads as confident and editorial, suited to messaging that wants sophistication with a touch of drama and speed.

The design appears intended to evoke a refined, old-style italic sensibility while amplifying it into a more attention-grabbing display voice. By combining wedge-like flares, sharp terminals, and pronounced contrast, it aims to deliver an elegant yet assertive texture for editorial and brand-driven typography.

Capitals show sculpted, flared finishing strokes (notably on C, G, and S), while the lowercase features a single-storey a and g and a pronounced, looping y. Numerals follow the same tapered logic, with curvy forms and strong thick–thin contrast that can become a graphic element at larger sizes.
