A tall, tightly set calligraphic serif with striking thick–thin modulation and crisp, tapered terminals. The letterforms are upright and slender, with long ascenders and descenders, a short x-height, and a lively rhythm created by alternating dense vertical strokes and delicate hairlines. Many capitals and select lowercase characters use restrained swash entry/exit strokes and curled finials, giving the design a decorative edge while keeping counters relatively open and clean. Numerals match the high-contrast construction and include a mix of straight stems and softly curved bowls, maintaining the same refined stroke behavior.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, pull quotes, titles, and short passages where its high-contrast details can remain crisp. It fits formal invitations, boutique branding, cosmetics or luxury packaging, and editorial uses that want a refined, classic voice. For longer text, it will perform most comfortably at larger sizes with generous line spacing to preserve the thin strokes and swash details.

The overall tone is polished and ceremonial, balancing classic bookish elegance with a hint of theatrical flair. Its high-contrast strokes and occasional flourishes suggest sophistication and formality, making text feel curated and intentional rather than casual.

The design appears intended to evoke a traditional calligraphic sensibility in a structured, typographic form: narrow, upright proportions paired with dramatic contrast and selective ornamentation. It aims to provide elegant display impact through distinctive capitals and hairline details while keeping the underlying skeleton readable and consistent.

Spacing appears uneven by design, with noticeable width changes between glyphs that emphasize a hand-rendered, calligraphic cadence. The sharp contrast and fine hairlines make it visually delicate, especially in smaller sizes or on low-resolution outputs, while the distinctive capitals add strong personality in display settings.
