A highly contrast serif with razor-thin hairlines and dominant vertical stems, producing a crisp, polished rhythm. Serifs are fine and sharp with a distinctly hairline feel, while curves show smooth, controlled transitions and a largely vertical stress. Capitals are tall and poised with generous internal space; round forms like C, O, and Q feel clean and open, and the Q has a delicate, sweeping tail. Lowercase maintains a measured, bookish structure with a two-storey a and g, compact apertures, and a restrained, tapered crossbar on t. Numerals are slender and stylish, with noticeable thick–thin modulation and elegant curves on figures like 2, 3, and 9.

Best suited for magazine typography, headlines, decks, and prominent editorial settings where contrast and fine serifs can be appreciated. It also fits luxury branding, packaging, and poster work that benefits from a poised, high-fashion voice, and can work for short text passages when size and rendering conditions are favorable.

The overall tone is sophisticated and high-end, evoking couture, premium publishing, and gallery-like restraint. Its sharp hairlines and polished contrast communicate formality and precision, leaning more toward display refinement than rugged everyday utility.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, high-contrast serif voice optimized for elegant display typography. Its controlled proportions and hairline detailing aim to create a premium, modern-classic impression for editorial and brand-forward communication.

At larger sizes the fine details read as crisp and luxurious, while the thin hairlines suggest it will be most at home in well-controlled print or high-resolution digital settings. The letterforms balance classic proportions with slightly dramatic stroke contrast, giving headings and pull quotes a distinctive, editorial presence.
