A narrow, blackletter-influenced design with tall vertical stems, sharp corners, and brisk, pointed terminals. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation reminiscent of broad-nib pen construction, with compact counters and tightly controlled spacing. Capitals are sculptural and slightly embellished, while lowercase forms maintain a consistent vertical rhythm with occasional hooked or tapered descenders and wedge-like feet. Numerals follow the same chiseled, calligraphic logic, keeping the overall texture dense and structured in text.

Best suited for display settings such as headlines, titling, posters, and identity work where a historic or ceremonial mood is desired. It can also work for short passages like pull quotes or invitations when set with generous spacing and careful size selection to preserve the intricate interior shapes.

The font carries a medieval, ceremonial tone with a stern, authoritative presence. Its angular calligraphy and compact texture evoke manuscripts, heraldic inscriptions, and old-world craft, lending copy a dramatic and historic voice.

The design appears intended to translate blackletter calligraphy into a crisp, repeatable typographic system: narrow, vertically driven, and richly patterned, with enough ornamental edge to feel traditional while remaining consistent across the alphabet and numerals.

In running text the consistent vertical emphasis produces a strong dark color and a patterned, woven texture typical of blackletter forms. Some glyphs feature distinctive diagonal spur cuts and sharp joins that read best when given enough size or line spacing to keep interior details from closing up.
