A lightly weighted italic slab serif with crisp, unbracketed serifs that read as small, sharp wedges at many terminals. Strokes stay fairly even through curves and stems, while the italic construction introduces a rhythmic forward slant and gently tapered joins. Capitals are tall and open, with rounded bowls and slightly angled horizontal strokes; lowercase forms are compact and energetic, featuring a single-storey a and g, a looped descender on g, and a hooked, descending tail on y. Numerals are similarly slanted and airy, with simple, readable shapes and modest serifing that matches the letterforms.

Well suited to editorial settings where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, introductions, or quotations, and it can also carry short-to-medium passages with a distinctive texture. It works especially well in magazines, book interiors, and cultural branding where a classic serif feel with a sharper, more characterful edge is desirable.

The overall tone feels bookish and cultured, like traditional print typography seen through a slightly idiosyncratic, hand-steered italic. The sharp slab terminals add a confident, engraved bite, while the lightness and forward motion keep it lively rather than formal or heavy.

The design appears intended to deliver a readable italic slab serif with a pronounced, crisp terminal treatment—balancing traditional serif proportions with a more pointed, expressive finishing. Its consistent slant and restrained stroke modulation suggest a focus on fluent text rhythm while preserving a memorable, slightly unconventional silhouette.

In running text the serif tips create a distinct sparkle along baselines and cap heights, giving paragraphs a textured, slightly restless color. The italic angle is consistent, helping long lines maintain flow without becoming overly decorative.
