A high-contrast decorative serif with sharp, thorn-like terminals and frequent starburst spurs that punctuate stems, crossbars, and joins. The letterforms mix classical serif structure with blackletter-leaning gestures and irregular internal cuts, creating a lively, jagged rhythm. Strokes alternate between hairline slashes and heavier verticals, and many glyphs include small protruding points that read like barbs or splinters. Proportions are generally traditional, but the silhouette varies from glyph to glyph, giving the set an intentionally uneven, characterful texture in text.

Best suited for short, high-impact display use such as horror or fantasy titles, Halloween and event posters, game or film headers, album/merch graphics, and logo wordmarks that want a spiky, arcane flavor. It can also work for packaging accents or chapter openers where texture is desired more than continuous readability.

The overall tone feels darkly theatrical and a bit mischievous, with an occult or horror-leaning atmosphere. Its spiked detailing and razor-thin cuts suggest danger and tension, while the exaggerated ornaments keep it playful rather than purely historic or formal.

The design appears intended to reinterpret serif and blackletter cues through an experimental, spiked ornament system, prioritizing atmosphere and silhouette over neutrality. It aims to produce a distinctive “cursed” texture in headlines and stylized phrases while remaining broadly legible at display sizes.

In continuous text the repeating barbs and internal slits create a shimmering texture that can get busy at small sizes, while larger settings emphasize the dramatic silhouettes and decorative points. Numerals echo the same spurred, cut-in aesthetic, maintaining consistency across letters and figures.
