A formal calligraphic italic with a pronounced rightward slant, sharp entry/exit terminals, and strong thick–thin modulation. Letterforms are narrow and vertically oriented, with compact bowls and a relatively low x-height that emphasizes tall ascenders and deep, looping descenders. Strokes taper to fine points and frequently end in subtle flicks; capitals carry restrained swashes and curved spurs that add flourish without becoming overly ornate. Overall spacing is tight and rhythmic, with a smooth, pen-like continuity even though the letters remain unconnected.

Best suited to short, prominent settings such as invitations, wedding stationery, formal announcements, certificates, and boutique branding. It also works well for headlines or pull quotes where the contrast and swashes can be appreciated; for longer text, larger sizes and generous line spacing help maintain clarity.

The tone is polished and ceremonial, suggesting traditional craftsmanship and a touch of romance. Its crisp contrast and swash cues read as upscale and classic, suited to messages that want to feel curated rather than casual.

Designed to emulate a controlled broad-pen or pointed-pen calligraphy feel in a clean typographic form, balancing readability with decorative flourish. The emphasis on slender proportions, high contrast, and expressive terminals appears intended to deliver an upscale, traditional voice for display typography.

Capitals are especially prominent and decorative compared to the lowercase, which stays more restrained and text-like. Numerals follow the same italic, calligraphic logic, with curved profiles and tapered ends that keep them consistent in mixed settings.
