A heavy, display-oriented slab serif with generous widths and strongly bracketed slabs. Strokes are robust with only subtle modulation, and joins and terminals show softened, rounded transitions that keep the forms from feeling brittle. The lowercase is compact and sturdy with short ascenders/descenders and relatively tight interior counters; the overall texture is dense and dark. Capitals are broad and stable, with squared-off shoulders and pronounced feet, producing an even, emphatic rhythm in lines of text.

Best suited to headlines and short-form display where strong typographic presence is needed—posters, signage, packaging, and bold editorial titles. It can work for pull quotes or subheads, but the dense weight and compact counters suggest using comfortable size and spacing for readability.

The tone is bold and dependable, with a traditional, editorial sensibility that also reads as sporty and poster-ready. Its chunky slabs and softened edges give it a friendly authority—more approachable than austere—while still projecting impact and permanence.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a classic slab-serif voice: wide, confident letterforms, pronounced bracketed slabs, and a dense typographic color that holds up in attention-grabbing settings.

The numerals match the heavyweight presence of the letters, with simplified, blocky construction suited to large sizes. In text, the strong serifs create a clear horizontal cadence, and the dense color can quickly dominate a layout if set too tightly or too small.
