A high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced rightward slant and a distinctly calligraphic modulation. Strokes show strong thick–thin transitions with diagonal stress, and serifs are finely bracketed, giving the letterforms a crisp yet fluid rhythm. Curves are generous and smooth, counters remain open, and joins taper cleanly into hairlines, producing an overall refined texture in running text. Numerals read as oldstyle, with varied heights and noticeable descenders that integrate naturally with lowercase rhythm.

Works well for book typography, long-form editorial layouts, and magazine features where an italic with strong contrast can add emphasis while staying readable. It also suits formal invitations, certificates, and pull quotes, providing a refined voice for highlighted passages and display-sized text.

The font conveys a traditional, literary tone—polished, cultured, and slightly dramatic in the way its hairlines and sweeping italics catch the eye. It feels established and editorial, suited to contexts that benefit from a sense of heritage and authority rather than a contemporary, utilitarian voice.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic that balances classical proportioning with a more expressive, pen-informed stroke. Its goal seems to be delivering a refined, authoritative texture for continuous reading while offering enough flourish to make emphasis and featured lines feel special.

Uppercase forms keep a measured, classical presence while the lowercase shows more lively italic movement, especially in letters with extended entry strokes and tapered terminals. The ‘g’ includes a small ear and the italics exhibit teardrop-like finishing on several curves, enhancing the handwritten impression without becoming ornamental.
