A sharply faceted blackletter with broken strokes, pointed terminals, and narrow internal counters. Stems are built from straight, chiseled segments with crisp joins, creating a rhythmic vertical texture in text. Uppercase forms are tall and compact with prominent angled spurs and wedge-like caps, while lowercase maintains a disciplined, upright structure with minimal roundness. Numerals follow the same cut-stone geometry, mixing straight-sided forms with occasional curved bowls that remain tightly constrained.

Best suited to display use such as logotypes, poster headlines, packaging labels, and event or album artwork where historical or gothic atmosphere is desired. It can also work for certificates, invitations, or chapter openers when set at larger sizes with generous tracking to preserve legibility.

The font conveys a traditional, ceremonial tone associated with historical manuscripts and heraldic signage. Its dense texture and sharp edges feel authoritative and formal, with a dramatic presence that reads as old-world and ritualistic rather than casual.

The design appears intended to emulate broad-pen blackletter traditions with a deliberately carved, angular finish, prioritizing texture and historic character over neutral readability. It aims to deliver a cohesive medieval voice across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals for bold, emblematic typography.

In extended settings the strong vertical rhythm can create a dark, patterned “wall” of type, so spacing and size become important for clarity. The mix of rigid angles and selective curves adds character while keeping the overall construction consistent across capitals, lowercase, and figures.
