A very heavy serif with pronounced flaring into wedge-like terminals and strong bracketed transitions. Strokes show a distinctly sculpted, chiseled feel: thick main stems and bowls are offset by narrow joins and sharp, triangular feet and caps that create crisp interior notches. Counters are relatively compact for the weight, with rounded forms (O, Q, e) carrying a carved, slightly pinched tension at entry/exit points. The lowercase leans toward sturdy, compact shapes with robust curves and short, firm terminals; the overall rhythm is dense and highly graphic, favoring bold silhouettes over delicate detail.

Best suited to display roles such as headlines, posters, book and album covers, mastheads, and bold branding where its flared terminals and carved forms can be appreciated. It can work for short editorial callouts or deck text, but will generally be most effective when given generous size and breathing room.

The tone is commanding and theatrical, with a classic print sensibility that reads as traditional and emphatic rather than minimalist. The sharply cut terminals add a ceremonial, poster-like punch, evoking old-style display typography and engraved lettering cues while maintaining a clean, contemporary solidity.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a classical serif voice, using flared, wedge-like endings and sculpted joins to create a distinctive, engraved texture. It prioritizes strong silhouettes and emphatic presence for attention-grabbing typography.

At larger sizes the faceted terminal shapes and tight apertures become distinctive features, giving headings a strong texture. In longer settings the weight and compact counters create a dark, high-ink color, so spacing and line length will strongly influence readability.
