A sharp, angular display face with broken, blade-like strokes and pronounced thick–thin modulation. The letterforms are compact and tightly proportioned, with narrow counters and pointed terminals that often split into small wedge cuts. Stems feel calligraphic and slightly irregular, giving the outlines a textured, hand-drawn edge rather than a perfectly machined finish. Capitals are tall and commanding with strong vertical emphasis, while lowercase maintains a similar narrow rhythm and a relatively moderate x-height, keeping the overall color dense and dark at text sizes.

Best suited for short, attention-grabbing settings such as posters, titles, chapter heads, packaging accents, and branding where a gothic/medieval voice is desired. It works particularly well in larger sizes where the broken stroke details and sharp terminals can be appreciated; for body copy, generous size and spacing help maintain readability.

The tone is gothic and theatrical, evoking medieval manuscripts, dark fantasy, and occult or horror aesthetics. Its spiked silhouettes and fragmented pen-stroke details create tension and drama, reading as intense and slightly sinister rather than friendly or neutral.

The design appears intended to deliver a dark, historical blackletter impression with a more hand-rendered, jagged finish. Its narrow, vertical rhythm and aggressive terminals prioritize mood and dramatic presence over neutrality, making it a purpose-built display style for evocative titles and identity work.

Spacing appears tight and the internal spaces are small, which increases density and visual impact but can reduce legibility in long passages. Numerals follow the same fractured, calligraphic construction, matching the alphabet’s aggressive, carved look.
