A stylized serif with sharp, wedge-like terminals and a distinctly rough, broken outline that reads like worn ink or abraded printing. Strokes show noticeable contrast, with thick verticals and thinner hairlines that sometimes taper into pointed, chiseled ends. The letterforms lean toward a roman structure, but many joints and curves are subtly uneven, creating an organic, slightly unstable rhythm. Counters are generally open, though the distressed contour occasionally nicks into bowls and arcs, producing a textured silhouette and a handcrafted impression.

This font works best for display typography where texture is an asset: book jackets, film or game titles, posters, themed packaging, and editorial headlines. It can also add atmosphere to short pull quotes or chapter openers, especially when paired with a cleaner text face for body copy.

The overall tone feels antique and theatrical—part old book typography, part occult or adventure poster—thanks to the high-contrast serif skeleton combined with imperfect, weathered edges. It suggests something discovered, stamped, or printed long ago rather than cleanly typeset.

The design appears intended to fuse a classic serif foundation with deliberate degradation, creating a period-evocative display face that feels printed, worn, and expressive. Its rough contouring and sharp terminals prioritize mood and character over neutrality.

Uppercase forms hold strong, poster-like silhouettes, while lowercase introduces more calligraphic quirks (notably in letters like a, e, g, and y), enhancing the hand-made feel. Numerals maintain the same chipped, ink-worn perimeter, with some figures showing more decorative curves and cut-ins that make them best suited to display settings rather than tight, small-size UI text.
