A high-contrast serif with a crisp, classical build and clearly bracketed serifs. Strokes transition sharply from thick verticals to fine hairlines, with tapered terminals and a slightly sculpted, calligraphic finish on curves and joins. The uppercase feels stately and balanced with generous counters, while the lowercase keeps a steady rhythm and readable apertures; the ‘a’ and ‘g’ are double-storey, and the overall texture stays clean without becoming brittle at text sizes. Numerals follow the same contrast logic, with elegant, thin links and rounded forms that align visually with the capitals.

Well-suited to book and long-form editorial typography where a classic serif voice is desired, including magazines, journals, and academic or cultural publications. It can also serve effectively for headlines, section openers, and pull quotes where its contrast and crisp serifs can add sophistication without departing from a traditional text-serifs palette.

The font conveys a composed, editorial tone—confident, traditional, and quietly upscale. Its sharp contrast and refined detailing evoke printed book typography and cultured institutions rather than casual or utilitarian design.

The design appears intended as a contemporary interpretation of classical book serif typography: prioritizing readability and consistent text color while leveraging high contrast and finely finished serifs to deliver an elegant, authoritative voice.

Spacing in the sample text reads even and controlled, producing a smooth paragraph color typical of conventional text serifs. The design’s sharp hairlines and pointed joins add a touch of drama for headings, while the underlying proportions remain restrained enough for continuous reading.
